About C10200 Copper Alloy
C10200, together with C10100, also belongs to Oxygen Free High Conductivity Copper (OFHC). C10200 is the copper forging alloy used mainly in electronics due to high electrical conductivity. This high purity alloy (99.95 Cu+Ag) is produced without the use of metal or metalloid deoxidizers. Excessive amounts of impurities reduce conductivity. This alloy has excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion, and can be produced by hot forging and cold forging methods.

C10200 Copper Forging
C10200 copper alloy can be either forged in hot or cold temperature status. UNS C10200 coppers can be hot forged at a temperature of about 760 to 871°C (1400 to1600°F). Hot forgeability of UNS C10200 coppers is about 65%. Cold Forging of C10200 Copper is operated under room temperature, which will not require heating process. Forging of C10100 copper can achieve great advantages including high corrosion resistance, and good electrical and thermal conductivity.
